Maria Keller
PreK4 Teacher
María Keller is passionate not only about teaching, but also about inspiring her students to love both Our Lord and the pursuit of learning. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, completed two years in Spanish Law, and later received her Spanish teaching certification from the Instituto Cervantes. María has delivered numerous talks on virtue-based parenting, marriage, and family life. Her commitment to education is reflected in her volunteer work at Embers Academy, Willows Academy, and Northridge Prep. She previously worked at Embers from 2015 to 2018 and rejoined the school in 2025, drawn by its enthusiastic atmosphere, where deep joy is seen as a conviction of being children of God.
Outside the classroom, María enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their seven children, taking long walks, biking, and canoeing through local forest preserves. She is a member of the “Well-Read Mom” book club and also finds joy in quiet evenings: reading by the fire, cooking dinner with her family.
