Embers Academy is committed to an admissions process that reflects the mission and values of our school. We welcome new families who share our vision and are seeking our wholesome school environment for their children.
Tuition 2024-25
Grades Kindergarten thru 5th

Preschool Program: PK3 & PK4

Tuition covers the major portion of instructional and academic costs. Tuition does not include uniforms or students’ personal school supplies.
Embers Academy uses Blackbaud Tuition Management for tuition management and SmartAid for tuition assistance assessment. If you have questions about these applications, please contact the Business Office at business@embersacademy.org or (847) 518-1185.
Materials Fee
A $325 per student Materials Fee is not included in the tuition rates listed above and will be reflected in all 2024-2025 Tuition Agreements. This fee applies to all students in grades PK3 – 5th and is not subject to Tuition Assistance consideration.
The Materials Fee helps defray expenses for consumable items the school orders for all students. Such items include replacement and additional classroom furnishings; replacement of textbooks and workbooks; technology and its maintenance (computers, chrome books, and classroom projectors) and other learning materials.
Tuition Assistance
Our Tuition Assistance Committee oversees a needs-based tuition assistance process and is committed to helping reduce the financial burden of tuition for qualified families. If the full cost of an Embers education poses a significant obstacle, prospective families applying for enrollment can also apply for Tuition Assistance.
The Tuition Assistance award is granted after:
- a prospective student completes the admissions process and is accepted into Embers Academy.
- the family submits the deposit and signs an enrollment contract.
- the family completes an application for Tuition Assistance.
A completed application for Tuition Assistance (including supporting documentation) is due within 10 days after a student contract is signed. If a family chooses not to accept their Tuition Assistance award, they may choose to withdraw. In this case, the enrollment contract will be canceled and the deposit returned.
