Re-Enrollment Period Ends Tuesday
Thank you all our families who have already returned your contacts for re-enrollment! Signing your contracts helps us plan for the coming year, as we once again expect wait lists for several grade levels.

All contracts not signed by midnight on Tuesday will expire in myEmbers. Rolling enrollment will then begin and a new contract will be issued, which will require the standard $500/student deposit.

Library Work Day

As of the New Year, all Sparks now visit the library weekly! We encourage our students to browse and pull out titles that interest them, however, these books tend to travel in all different directions… and whether or not they end up back in their proper spots is very unpredictable!

We are holding a Library Work Day following Mass on Wednesday, February 25, at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help to re-shelve books and organize the shelves so we can maintain neatness and order in Narnia. We hope you can join us! Add to Calendar

Let us know you’re coming!

Ash Wednesday Mass
Our All-School Mass on Ash Wednesday, February 18, will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Please help us facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring all students arrive on time. There will be no confessions before or after Mass. Parents are always welcome to join us!

Monday, March 2 | 7:30-9:00 p.m.
The Bahjat’s Home

Presenter Dr. Mona Stepansky will explore how healthy communication nurtures connection, understanding, and resilience within families. Dr. Stepansky is a mother of six children, ages 5-17. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a Child and Family concentration, in addition to a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology. She is in private practice as a board-certified pediatric neuropsychologist, providing evaluations for children and adolescents with cognitive and learning differences.

Coffee & Conversation: Embracing Honesty
Wednesday, Feb. 18 | 9:30-10:30 a.m.

As we enter the Lenten season this Ash Wednesday, Lisa Hanretty, former Embers mom and Head of School, will guide us in reflecting on the virtue of Honesty and its place in family life. This presentation invites us to begin Lent with thoughtful self-examination, considering our hearts, our words, and the example we set for our children. Together, we’ll explore how honesty shapes strong character, deepens trust, and draws our families closer to God.

Complementary coffee & childcare provided.
All Embers Moms and their friends are welcome.

Mother-Son Bowling Photos Available!
We had a ball at the annual Mother–Son Bowling event! Thank you to all the families who joined us for an afternoon of strikes, snacks, and games… it was right up our alley. Check out the event photos HERE.

Northridge Presents…

Northridge Preparatory School invites you to this year’s Parent University speaker, Dr. Leonard Sax! A physician, psychologist, and bestselling author of Boys Adrift, Why Gender Matters, and The Collapse of Parenting, Dr. Sax is returning to Northridge to share his latest research on one of the most pressing challenges facing parents today.

In his presentation ‘Beyond Resilience’: Helping Your Child Become UnFragile, Dr. Sax will provide evidence-based answers to questions such as:
  • Why are many kids today so fragile?
  • How can I help my child fulfill their potential?
  • Why are today’s American kids more likely to be anxious or depressed compared with American kids from just 20 years ago?
  • What one thing can parents do to greatly improve the odds that their child will grow up to be healthy, happy, and successful?
