myEmbers is the primary way for you to stay informed about your child’s progress in school, classroom news, and important announcements. Please use this guide to set up your myEmbers account and quickly learn how to access this important information. Through myEmbers you can access: classroom newsletter, report cards, and class directories.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
Please follow these instructions and review the campus maps provided below to ensure a safe arrival and dismissal:
Morning Drop-Off Procedure for All Students:
- Traffic may enter from either the Greenwood Ave or Normal Ave entrances.
- Cars will follow the traffic cones, merge in the North Lot, and proceed to the the front circle.
- Please maintain a single lane along the curb.
- Slowly pull forward and wait for an Embers Staff to approach your vehicle. They will assist your student into the building.
- After all students have safely exited your vehicle, exit onto Greenwood Ave.
Dismissal Procedure for Last Names A & B:
Blue Door | Front Circle | Last Names A & B
- In the front circle driveway, families will pull forward in two lines, park, then walk to the front door.
- For a smoother dismissal, please bring and hold the family name placard you were provided.
- Students will use the ‘See and Point’ procedure to notify teachers that their parent is present.
- Once ALL children have been loaded into their cars, the front drive families will be released together.
Dismissal Procedure for All Other Last Names:
Red Door | North Breezeway | Last Names C-L
Yellow Door | West Porch | Last Names M-S
White Door | South Breezeway | Last Names T-Z
- Families must park and walk to their assigned door for pickup.
- For a smoother dismissal, please bring and hold the family name placard you were provided.
- Students will use the ‘See and Point’ procedure to notify teachers that their parent is present.
- We encourage you to park closest to your designated entrance.
- There is NO PARKING OR DRIVING in the OLR roundabout (noted by the red oval.) Please be respectful in honoring the parish’s request.
Pick up is at 3:05 p.m
At 3:20 p.m., the doors will be closed and students will be brought to the Extended Day Program and EDP service fees will apply. Refer to our website Forms tab for pricing information.
Dismissal Procedure for Half- Day PreK Students:
Blue Door | Front Circle at 11:30 a.m.
- Please pull forward in two lines on the front circle driveway
- Display your last name placard in your passenger window.
- Remain in your car. A teacher will walk your child to your car.
- Once ALL children have been loaded into their cars, the front drive will be released together.
Dismissal Procedure for Full- Day PreK Students:
Yellow Door | West Porch at 2:45 p.m.
- All students without older siblings
- Your dismissal procedure remains the same.
- Families must park and walk to their assigned door for pickup.
- For a smoother dismissal, please bring and hold the family name placard you were provided.
- We encourage you to park closest to your designated entrance.
- There is NO PARKING OR DRIVING in the OLR roundabout (noted by the red oval.) Please be respectful in honoring the parish’s request.
