Halloween (Hallow’s Eve), All Saints Day and All Souls Day
-

-
Embers Parent Association is hosting a “Trunk or Treat”. More details to come!
-
Monday, November 1: All Saints Day
Students are encouraged to ‘be a saint’! Students may include with their uniform something that symbolizes a saint they would like to represent that day. Any clothing item must be worn over uniforms — it is not an out-of-uniform day.
-
Tuesday, November 2: All Souls Day
Students may bring in a picture of someone they know that has passed away in the last year. The repose of their souls will be prayed for during the month of November. All Souls Day is a solemn celebration in the Roman Catholic Church to show respect to all of those who have died and are now in Purgatory, being made pure before entering into the presence of God in Heaven. The Holy Souls in Purgatory cannot pray for themselves, but we can pray for them to help them reach heaven sooner.
