Please help us continue to ‘Spark the Future’ by educating and developing many more young boys and girls. Embers Academy educates both the mind and the heart, forming young people, enlightened by God’s truth, who are firm in faith and filled with hope. Together we are forming the next generation to become responsible adults who are prepared to make a real and lasting difference in the world.

Classroom Contest #1
The grade that turns in the highest percentage of tickets by February 11 receives an Out-of-Uniform Day and a Pizza and Ice Cream Party!

The Fifth Grade class held their Invention Convention last Friday. Each student invented a creation of their own that solves a problem. The students also wrote essays, persuasive posters, and made models of their inventions. They demonstrated their creations and tried to persuade visitors to “buy” their inventions.

The Second Grade Class completed their unit on the Civil War with a variety of projects:

Stick puppets of favorite figures of the Civil War.

A board game complete with questions and answers about the Civil War.
|

A book about the Civil War.

The Fifth Graders joined the Second Graders to practice cursive writing in shaving cream.

Join us on January 31st for our next get-together! Learn more about the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) and practical ways to transmit the faith to your children.
The CGS approach is also part of the faith formation program at Embers for students in PreK – 2nd grade.
