Dress as your favorite Narnia character!

On Friday, April 29th, all students may wear something or bring a prop or accessory that represents their favorite Narnia Book Character that their grade is enjoying!  Below you will find the list of books each grade is reading or listening to this year:

• Kindergarten – The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

• First Grade – Magician’s Nephew 

• Second Grade – The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

• Third Grade – The Silver Chair

• Fourth Grade – The Horse and His Boy

• Fifth Grade – The Last Battle

Students are not required to be in full costume. What students choose should be school appropriate and follow guidelines set in the Parent Handbook.

Read-a-thon Reminder

A reminder to keep reading throughout the month of April.  The Read-A-Thon will end on Friday, April 22.

Usborne Book Fair

Parents and families are welcome to visit the Book Fair at Embers during the following times: 

• Wednesday, April 27 from 1 – 5pm 
• Thursday, April 28 from 3 – 4pm

On Monday, both fourth grade classes worked together to create a colorful pathway of expressions and synonyms for  April’s virtue: Compassion.

Almost 90 mothers and sons enjoyed a night of bowling at Bowlero last Friday night!
