Sarah Ptacek
5th Grade Teacher
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Benedictine University in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology and a Social Science endorsement, and a Masters from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in English Language Learning (ELL). She began teaching at Embers in 2018 and has enthusiastically spearheaded our students’ annual Invention Convention and Wax Museum presentations each year. Sarah is passionately involved in her faith, serving as both a Catechist through the Archdiocese and a part of the Diaconate program at her home parish, Our Lady of Ransom.
Sarah and her husband enjoy trips to the Botanic Gardens with their two sons, both current Embers students. Avid outdoor enthusiasts, her family loves camping adventures full of kayaking, sun gazing, and music around the campfire.
