Saxon Math Review packets

While these grade-level review packets are not required, they are highly encouraged.  All students who complete their grade-level review packet and submit it to their teacher on Tuesday, September 7th will be invited to participate in a Math Celebration at the start of the school year. Please click on the grade level that your child will be entering this fall to obtain their Math Review packet.

• First Grade
• Second Grade
• Third Grade
• Fourth Grade
• Fifth Grade

Required Summer Reading

All students entering Grades 1 – 5 have one required book to read this summer. Click HERE for a list of the books assigned to each grade level.  This is an updated list with correct ISBN numbers.

K-2 Required Reading Reminder
The required Summer Reading book for Grades K-2 is not necessarily meant to be read independently by the student.  Parents should plan to enjoy reading the book with their child, helping instill a love and enjoyment of reading.

Students can choose books from the list of optional books which appeared in last week’s newsletter:

• at their level to read independently or
• above their level to be read with a parent

The Embers Summer Music Program is open to all 2nd – 4th Graders. In order to suit all growing musicians, Mr. Sadlowski will offer three tiers of instruction: 

• Private Voice Lessons
• Summer Intermediate Band Lessons
• Beginning Band Fast-Track Summer Program
