Out of Uniform: Friday

Friday will be an out of uniform day for all students. All students must adhere to the Out-Of-Uniform policy in the handbook. Happy Winter!

January’s Virtue: Courage

Yesterday, our 1st Grade classes shared with us the virtue of the month, courage. Using the tale of David and Goliath, they showed our Sparks how courage and faith in God will always lead us to victory! They shared many ways to show courage everyday, including going into dark rooms, standing up for a friend who is being picked on, and even jumping off the high dive! They also shared a special prayer for courage that our students can pray all month:

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Heavenly Father, give us the wisdom to know what’s right and the courage to do what’s right, no matter what people think.

Parent Volunteers Welcome!

Annie Assistance
Do you enjoy building? Are you great with a sound board? The Music Department is looking for volunteers to help with our spring musical, Annie! Opportunities include:

Set Building | Costuming | Lighting | Sound | Makeup

Please contact Rob Sadlowski at rsadlowski@embersacademy.org if you would like to help on any of these teams. We appreciate your help in creating theater magic

Recess Helpers
With our unstructured approach to recess, and as our school continues to grow, it would be wonderful to have more pairs of hands to help us both monitor and form our students. Parent volunteers are more than welcome to provide additional support!

Will you help us by volunteering to monitor recess one period a week? If you’re interested, please sign up HERE. And, as always, feel free to email Mr. Boville with any questions.

Welcome, Sparks!
Our warmest welcome to the nine new Sparks who joined us in the new year!
