Terra Nova Testing This Week
Terra Nova testing for all 3rd-5th grade students will take place from Tuesday – Thursday this week, with a makeup day on Friday. Parents, please plan ahead to help your students shine!

PK4 Has Pulled Off A Win!
Congratulations to our PK4 class for winning Extravaganza Competition #2: Movie Day! It was such a tight race, and we are incredibly proud of our Sparks (and their parents!) for making our raffle a success. This year, we raised close to $20,000 on the raffle alone. Thank you for your passion in supporting Embers Academy!

March is Literacy Month
Literacy month has begun! Read-A-Thon logs / pledge sheets, and templates for the Bookmark Contest went home this past Wednesday. Please refer to Friday’s Literacy Week email (also available at the link below) for information on everything that is planned for this literary celebration!
Note: submissions for the Bookmark Competition are due to your teacher by this Friday, March 10th. No late entries will be accepted.

Drop-off Safety Reminder
We would like to remind all parents to maintain a safe atmosphere for our students during morning drop-off. It is important that the following safety procedures are followed:
- Please pull all the way up to the front of the drop off line when motioned to do so by an Embers staff person.
- Please do not go around other cars that are in line in order to move to the front of the line. Drivers should only go into the second lane if they are ready to exit onto Greenwood.
- Please do not turn left into the front circular driveway after entering the main driveway from Greenwood Avenue. Proceed to the North parking lot and merge into the drop-off lane as requested.
- Always drive at a slow and safe rate of speed when in the parking lot and drop off line.
