We Love Our Teachers!
Monday kicks off Teacher Appreciation Week at Embers! The EPA is providing a week of recognition for our fabulous faculty and we hope our families can participate. Full information about the week’s events can be found on the flyer HERE.
- Monday: Thanks a Latte Day
- Tuesday: Favorite Color Day – Sparks may come out of uniform, dressed in their teachers favorite color (see flyer at the link above).
- Wednesday: Build a Bouquet Day – Sparks are welcome to bring a flower for their teacher and enrichment faculty.
- Thursday: Relax and Unwind Day – Parents are welcome to donate a dessert and/or a bottle of wine for our teachers. Sign up to sponsor a faculty member HERE. Labeled items may be dropped off at the front office Thursday morning.
- Friday: Gratitude Day – Sparks are encouraged to make a card for their teacher and enrichment faculty.

April’s Virtue: Loyalty
Mrs. Grandinetti’s 4th Grade class presented the April virtue, loyalty, last Friday. Through their impressive skits, the class showed how being loyal to your classmates creates strength for both you and your friends.

Spring Band Concert this Friday!

On Tuesday, our K-2nd Grade Students displayed virtue in action during an impromptu campus clean-up. Working together during recess, they helped make our school shine!

Our 2nd Grade classes will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion today at St. Mary of the Angels Church. Please keep our Sparks in your prayers as they celebrate this special day!

Mother-Son Bowling is on a Roll!
The EPA’s annual Mother-Son bowling outing was once again a huge success with over 110 participants gathering to bowl and play games! We loved seeing our Sparks and their moms make memories – with a healthy dose of competition.

All Embers families and friends are welcome to join us on Friday, May 10 for the Fire Choir’s performance of Annie Kids. Our students have been hard at work memorizing songs, honing their acting skills, and building beautiful set pieces. You won’t want to miss this performance!

Congratulation to the Wasserman family on the birth of baby #6! Christopher Joseph was born on April 16 and is named after the martyr St. Christopher and St. Joseph, protector of the Holy Family. Christopher is warmly welcomed by all his siblings, including Embers students James (5th), Patricia (3rd) and Zelie (K).

Moms Club: Cooking Workshop

Join EPA Moms Club this April and learn how to make a quick and nutritious meal, perfect for the entire family! There is a $10/person fee for this experience, which includes food and materials for all participants. RSVP by April 28 to epa@embersacadmey.org.
