  • Saturday, May 3: First Communion
    Please join us in praying for our First Communicants who are receiving their sacrament today at St. Mary of the Angels Church. May God bless them with a lifelong love for the Eucharist!

     
  • Monday, May 5: May Crowning & Rosary
    The 2nd Grade class will lead our Sparks in the Rosary while honoring our Blessed Mother. All families are welcome to join us for the ceremony which begins at 10:45 in the Church.
     
  • Thursday, May 8: Kindergarten Lemonade Stand
    Kindergarten will be practicing their measuring skills and their counting skills with a recess lemonade stand! Cups will be sold to students for 25¢ each, with a two-cup limit. If your Spark would like to participate, please send them to school with some change.

     
  • Friday, May 9: Music Man Kids
    More information below!

Our Sparks are ready to shine at the Fire Choir’s performance of The Music Man Kids this Friday! This heartwarming production tells the story of a charming traveler who brings music and joy to a small town, discovering friendship along the way. All families are welcome to attend this free performance! (Cash donations will be collected at the show to support our music program.)

Celebrating Creativity at Embers!

Annual Student Art Show | 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
Artwork created by our Sparks in Grades K-5 will be on display throughout the front lobby, breezeway, and halls! Parents may also stop in during dismissal beginning Monday, May 19 to view student artwork.

4th Grade Living Art Museum | 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Our 4th Grade students will bring to life famous artists and their inspiring works of art. Don’t miss this chance to experience art in action!

Choir & Band Performance | 2:00 – 2:45 p.m.
Embers Band and Fire Choir students will display their musical growth
during this final performance in Paluch Hall. All families are invited!

Embers’ 2024-25 Yearbook
Orders are now being accepted for the Embers yearbook, full of fun memories from the past school year. All yearbooks will be shipped to the school and passed out at the Ice Cream Social this Fall. More information can be found HERE.

Dads Club presents: Raising Mission-Driven Children
Wednesday May 14 | 6:30 p.m. | Willows Academy

All dads and moms are welcome to join us! Guest speaker, Angela Fortunato, will be presenting ways to support your child’s spiritual formation to help them hear God’s message. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Click HERE for more information and to register.

Our Sparks had a blast at this year’s Extravaganza Party: Hot Lunch with the Heads! Students enjoyed a fun-filled recess and lunch alongside Mr. Goffos and Mr. Boville, complete with egg races, pushup contests, freeze dance, and more. It was a joyful event packed with laughter, movement, and memorable moments shared with our school leaders. Thank you to everyone who participated!
