Also starting Monday, students who successfully wear all uniform pieces each month will be able to participate in our monthly ‘Lookin’ Fine, All the Time’ out-of-uniform days. Students qualifying for this privilege will be informed by their teacher. Thank you for making sure our Sparks are ‘lookin’ fine’ every day!

The Fourth graders celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day this past Monday across the curriculum! In math, the students solved problems to decode instructions for drawing an apple orchard, solved logic problems involving apples, and made chunky cinnamon applesauce. In reading, the students read “The Case of the Half-Eaten Apple,” using clues and critical thinking to solve the case.

Yesterday was Spirit Day at Embers in honor of soccer and cross country teams who are both wrapping up fantastic seasons over the next few days. Our athletes were invited to come to school in their jerseys while their fellow Sparks filled the hallways to celebrate their hard work with high-fives, cheers, and bubbles! Congrats, Spark Athletes, on a great year!
