Parent/Teacher Conferences
Sign-ups Now Open!
Trimester I ends on Friday, November 17. Parent/Teacher conferences will be held in-person at Embers on Monday, November 2o, from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
To be respectful of our teachers’ schedules, please note that formal conferences will only be held on Monday. If you plan to be out of town, please schedule your appointment and then contact your student’s teacher(s) to set up a virtual conference. If you do not contact your teacher, it will be assumed that you are doing an in-person conference.

Dear Parents,
Every morning, our students begin the day by reciting the Spark Pledge—
“As an Embers Spark, I promise to shine light on the world by trying my best to—
Be Respectful
Take Responsibility
Show Kindness
and Embrace Truth”
These four traits are the core of our behavioral expectations, and they inform our approach to character formation at Embers Academy.
|
|
Our Embers Fire Choir was recently given an extraordinary opportunity to shine light on the world by sharing their talents at the Relevant Radio studio in Lincolnshire. Fr. Rocky graciously invited them to record audio and video of eight Christmas carols that will be broadcast on the radio and online throughout the season of Advent.
“I was a little scared, because it was a real life studio,” said Christopher, in 3rd Grade. “But it was awesome!”
|
|
|
Before disembarking from the bus at the studio, every student recited the Spark Pledge, and I’m pleased to report that everyone upheld it. Fr. Rocky and his production team were so impressed with their courtesy, professionalism, and energy—even so late in the afternoon.
This Advent, the joy of our Sparks will be shared with 5 million listeners around the world. Louella, in 5th Grade, said, “I want them to feel the joy of Jesus Christ being born!” I encourage you to tune in to hear them all Advent long.
Sincerely,
Christopher Goffos
Headmaster

With this in mind, we would like to invite some volunteers for the opportunity to further the Annual Fund’s sprouting momentum! Join us for a cup of coffee with friends–new or old– and help the Development Team assemble a surprise for each student on Thursday, November 9 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Please sign up below!

Have you had a chance to donate yet? Whether you contribute $10 or $1,000, every cent matters—to cover operating and increasing facility costs, to pay our teachers competitive salaries, and to invest in the best published curricula. As of this week, Embers has raised over $152,000 of our $250,000 goal! Come grow with us today!
