Embers Christmas Kickoff!
Ho, ho – here we go!
Here is a rundown of all the fun and important Christmas events happening at Embers during the weeks ahead.

Extended Day Program Note:
Friday, December 20 is a half day of school, with all students dismissing at 11:30 a.m. There will be no afternoon EDP on that day.

|
Sparks: Please Dress to Impress!
Students should dress in their Christmas best, including dress pants, skirts or dresses, plus festive accessories such as ties, scarves, or hair bows. (Please no t-shirts, jeans, or gym shoes!)

Extended Day Program Note:
In order to provide time to prepare for the Christmas Concert on December 17, EDP will close after the first session, at 4:15 p.m. All students must be picked up by 4:15 p.m.

December 15 | 2:30-3:00 p.m.
Our Lady of Ransom Church
Our moms are invited to attend to a special afternoon of prayer and reflection as we enter the Advent season. Together, we’ll prepare to celebrate the gift of our Savior and refocus on the hope and joy He brings. Complimentary babysitting will be available in the Bonus Room. Doors open at 2:15 p.m.

Wednesday, December 17 | Infant Jesus Blessing
Following Mass, Fr. Joe will lead our Sparks in the blessing of our school’s Infant Jesus figurine. We welcome all students to bring in the Baby Jesus figurine from their home nativity to be blessed as well!

Thursday, December 18 | Christmas Accessory Spirit Day
Students may accessorize their uniform with Christmas socks,
festive hats, and holiday hair accessories!
|

|
|
Friday, December 19 | Red & Green Spirit Day
To celebrate our last day before break, students may dress
out of uniform in red, green, or their favorite Christmas shirt!

Feeling Jolly?
School Decorating is Wednesday!
Immediately following Mass on Wednesday, December 3, we will be decorating Embers for Christmas. We’re looking for a cheerful crew to help sprinkle some Christmas magic around our school lobby. Decorations are provided; just bring your holiday spirit. Let’s fill the space with Christmas cheer as we celebrate the coming of our Savior!

December Worship Opportunities:
- Novena at St. Mary of the Angels
To prepare for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, St. Mary of the Angels Church will be hosting the Novena from November 30 – December 8. Confessions and the Rosary begin at 6:45 p.m. and Mass begins at 7:15 p.m. Embers will not be formally taking part in a Mass this year, but families are welcome to attend and participate with the community.
- Feast of the Immaculate Conception Mass
In celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we will gather for an all-school Mass at Our Lady of Ransom on Monday, December 8 at 8:45 a.m. All parents are welcome to join us. We look forward to sharing this special feast day together!

Midwest Motherhood Conference 2026
Saturday, January 31 | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Act now to secure discounted tickets for the 2026 Midwest Motherhood Conference. $45 early bird tickets, available through December 1, include a presentation by keynote speaker, Leticia Rodriguez, age-specific breakout sessions, continental breakfast and lunch.
