Together We Spark Success!
Thank you to all the Embers families who have contributed to this year’s Annual Fund! Your participation is the heart of our progress, and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve already reached 57% family participation. Every family gift, no matter the size, strengthens our community and helps maintain the programs and experiences that make Embers so special. Thank you for being such an essential part of our momentum!

We’re also excited to share that our Board of Directors has once again reached 100% participation in the Annual Fund! Their steady show of support continues to build a bright future for our students.
Donations are due by New Year’s Eve and there’s still plenty of time to give! Thank you for helping us reach 100% family participation!

Cold Season Reminder
As we enter “cold season,” we ask parents to follow these guidelines when deciding whether to keep a child home from school due to illness:
- The child should be fever free for at least 24 hours without medicine before returning to school. A fever is classified as a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher.
- The child should be free of intestinal upsets – vomiting or diarrhea – for at least 24 hours.
- If prescribed an antibiotic, the child should be on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.
If a student becomes ill during the school day, the office will call a parent to determine whether it is necessary for the student to be picked up. Students who are ill should remain at home until they are fully recovered. Thank you for your partnership in keeping Embers healthy!
