It’s time to enjoy the sunshine and lazy days of summer!  In order to keep your children learning throughout the summer, please find links in this newsletter to the Embers Summer Reading program.  Look for the Saxon Math Review packets in next week’s newsletter.

Report Cards (Preschool – 5th Grades) and Terra Nova Results (3rd – 5th grades only) were sent home by mail this week.

Required Summer Reading

All students entering Grades 1 – 5 have one required book to read this summer. Click HERE for a list of the required books assigned to each grade level.  
 

Highly Encouraged Summer Reading

All students are encouraged to fulfill the reading requirements needed to participate in the Summer Reading Celebration that will take place during the first week of school in September. Please click on the grade level that your child will be entering this fall to see the summer reading list and other requirements: 

• Kindergarten 
• 1st Grade
• 2nd Grade
• 3rd Grade
• 4th Grade
• 5th Grade

The Embers Summer Music Program is open to all 2nd – 4th Graders. In order to suit all growing musicians, Mr. Sadlowski will offer three tiers of instruction: 

• Private Voice Lessons
• Summer Intermediate Band Lessons
• Beginning Band Fast-Track Summer Program
