Summer Update

As your families are enjoying the summer months, preparations are underway for the first day of school on September 6th! Please see below for school supply lists, uniform information, and summer Math and Reading enrichment.

School Uniforms

Please review the Parent Handbook located on Embers’ website for details on uniform requirements.  Uniforms can be purchased through Dennis Uniform using School Code G24GV.

Used Uniform Sale
We will be holding our Used Uniform Sale in the School Lobby from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on August 15 – 18.

Required Summer Reading

All students entering Kindergarten – 5th Grade have one required book to read this summer. This book will be discussed in class during the first few weeks of school.

Encouraged Summer Reading

Students entering Kindergarten – 5th grade are encouraged to complete extra reading and a small assignment to be entered into the Summer Reading Raffle for their classroom.

Saxon Math Review Packets 

The Saxon Math review packets are not required, but are highly encouraged. All students who complete their review packet and submit it to their teacher on Tuesday, September 6 will be entered into the Summer Math Raffle for their classroom.

Note: Students entering Kindergarten do not have a math packet.

Soccer and Cross Country Teams for Students in Grades 3 – 5

Parent Coaches Needed!

Parent coaches are the reason why Embers’ sports are fun and successful! Please help us continue providing these athletic initiatives to our students by volunteering to help coach a team.  We can’t have these teams without you!

If you are interested in volunteering as a Soccer or Cross Country coach, please email Mr. Rob Sadlowski, Athletic Director at rsadlowski@embersacademy.org no later than Friday, July 22nd.

A separate link for student registration will be sent at the end of July, once we have our coaching needs finalized.  Thank you in advance for your support!

Embers Academy Summer Office Hours

During the month  of July, Embers School Office will be closed due to construction and facility maintenance.

Phone messages and emails will be monitored daily.
