We’re so glad to have all of our Sparks back at school! We had many fun events this first week including an All-School Rosary to celebrate Our Lady’s birthday and our Summer Reading and Math Celebrations.

Be sure to save room after lunch for your ice cream treat at our annual Embers Ice Cream Social!  Sunday, September 12, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., held at Embers Academy.  Check in at the registration tables to receive your ice cream tickets. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets. We ask that you please do not park in the church lot since there are parish activities occurring. We look forward to seeing all of you for a fun afternoon!

Running Late!

If your student(s) arrive after the 8:20 a.m. bell, please park your vehicle and walk your children to the door and ring the bell for admittance. It is required that you sign your student(s) into school if tardy. Thank you!

Family Name Placards
For safety reasons and to help our staff, please be sure to prominently display your family placard during afternoon pickup. It is suggested that you have it placed on the passenger-side sun visor for better visibility by staff.

Buckling-In Protocols

If you need to buckle children in car seats at pick-up time, please let an Embers staff person know when you first enter the pick-up line. We will open up one of our handicapped parking spots so that you have ample time to securely buckle your children in. Thank you for your cooperation with this, as it helps our pick-up process run smoothly!

Wednesday, September 15th 
All K-5 parents are invited to Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 15th, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The evening will begin with a Welcome Session in Paluch Hall, followed by classroom visits. Learn more about your child’s curriculum and meet the teachers!

Fire Choir
All 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students are eligible to participate regardless of experience, skill or talent. This is a beginning choir for all to learn the joys and benefits of singing.

Beginning Band
Band is eligible to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Any child from these grades can choose to start an instrument in Beginning Band regardless of previous involvement.  

Intermediate Band
Returning Band Students will start this Tuesday, September 14th at 2:45 pm and finish at 3:30 pm. Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 – 3:00 pm.

If your student(s) will be attending Before and/or After School Care you must pre-register using the form below. Pre-registration allows for the planning of appropriate staffing needs.
