Spirit Week ’26 Recap:
A Week of Fun and Service!
What an incredible Spirit Week at Embers! From patriotic colors to favorite team jerseys, silly socks and buddy colors, we loved seeing our students express themselves during our daily themed events.
But true school spirit is about more than just fun outfits; it is about serving our community. Throughout the week, our students made cards for service members, prayed for loved ones, and collected canned foods for local families. Sparks also brought the spirit of service home with them via the Service Activity challenge. For those Sparks who completed all their home activities and returned their signed flier by Friday, congratulations! You have earned an Out of Uniform Day this Monday, February 9th.

As we enter the Lenten season this Ash Wednesday, Lisa Hanretty, former Embers mom and Head of School, will guide us in reflecting on the virtue of Honesty and its place in family life. This presentation invites us to begin Lent with thoughtful self-examination, considering our hearts, our words, and the example we set for our children.
