Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
Thursday, October 9th
Fall parent-teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, October 9 from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Conferences are 15 minutes each and Grades 3-5 will have combined meetings with both teachers. These conferences are intended for parents only. Please note that there will be no school that day to accommodate conferences. The online scheduler (PickATime) will be available in next week’s Spark News.

Fall Sports Photos
We are excited to once again offer sports photos for our athletes this year! After morning drop-off on Tuesday, October 7, VIP Photography will be on campus to take both individual and team photos for soccer and cross country. All Fall athletes are asked to wear their team jersey to school that day for photos with school-appropriate bottoms. Coaches are warmly welcome to join us!
Sports parents: please be on the lookout for additional information on how to view and order your photos. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of all our athletes this season!

Chess Scholars Registration Open
Classes start October 14!
Registration is currently live for our Fall session of Chess Scholars. This program, which runs after school on Tuesdays consists of a fun, interactive teaching period followed by a guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome!

All Embers moms are invited to our upcoming Fall Social! Whether you’re hoping to connect with familiar faces or meet some new ones, this is the perfect opportunity to relax and mingle.

All-School Picture Day: Monday, September 29th
Students should wear their uniforms, including their red sweaters or vests, for photos. These pictures will be available for order and will also be used in our yearbook and class composites. In a few weeks, you will receive an email from Visual Image Photography with an invitation to view and order your student’s photos. All orders are delivered directly to your home!

Dads Club: Fall Pilgrimage
Thursday, October 2nd | 7:00 p.m.
Dad’s Club will gather at the statue of Our Lady on the Northwest corner of the St. Paul of the Cross Parish for a Rosary Pilgrimage walking to George and Pilar Holohan’s home. Once there, we’ll gather around the backyard fire pit to enjoy snacks, drinks, and camaraderie. All Embers dads are warmly welcome to join us!

Art Club: Art Fundamentals
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
Mondays, October 6 – December 8 | 3:15-4:15 p.m.
In this 8-week class taught by Mrs. Rivas, students will learn about elements and principles of art while activating their brain’s right side. Working with different dry and wet mediums, students will develop their own style in an art studio setting.
