Dear Families,
With the first quarter coming to a close, it’s a good opportunity to pause and take stock. We’re off to a tremendous start this year at Embers Academy. With record enrollment, very talented faculty, and highly-engaged parent volunteers, this school year is going to be one for the books.
But current and future success is always built upon what comes before, which is why we were proud to share the 2024 Annual Report with you in the mail this last week. Highlighting the success of our students, the diligence of our faculty, and the commitment of our parents, this is one publication you’re not going to want to miss.
If you haven’t yet received a hard copy, you can view the report HERE.
Many hands assisted in the production of our first-ever annual report, especially lead writer Julene Barder, donor information master Jacqueline Lastovich, and designer and photographer Diana Silhan. Your Sparks are in good hands with the amazing team at Embers.
Sincerely,
Christopher Goffos
Headmaster

Honoring the Recently Departed
In celebration of All Souls Day on Friday, November 1, Mrs. Fernandez will continue Embers’ tradition of building an Ofrenda in the lobby to honor our recently departed. Starting Wednesday, students may bring in a picture of someone they know who has passed away in the last year. These photos will be included in our Ofrenda and we will pray for the repose of their souls during the month of November.
