Our next ‘Lookin’ Fine’ out-of-uniform day is Friday, January 14th.  Students who successfully wear all uniform pieces each month are able to participate in our monthly ‘Lookin’ Fine’ out-of-uniform days!  Students qualifying for this privilege have been informed by their teacher on Friday. Thank you for making sure that our Sparks are ‘lookin’ fine’ every day!

Students go outside for recess and breaks if the air temperature is 20 degrees or higher, and snowfall invites opportunities for playing in the snow and sledding. Please be sure to send students to school with proper winter outerwear so everyone truly enjoys going outdoors for recess and breaks.

• Warm Coat
• Hat
• Mittens or Gloves
• Snow Pants
• Snow Boots

• Girls can keep a pair of leggings or knit pants in their locker to slip under their skirt or jumper on chilly days.  They will take these off when they come back inside.

If your child wishes to play in the ‘snowball throwing area’ at recess, please be sure to include a pair of snow goggles with their gear. Children without snow goggles will not be allowed to throw snowballs, and snowball throwing is only permitted in a designated area.

We are in need of more sleds as ours have seen better days.  If you have any gently used ones hiding in your closet or garage, we will gladly accept your donation.  Thank you in advance for your generosity!
