All completed summer packets and forms must be submitted to your child’s teacher on Tuesday, Sept. 7th.  No exceptions!  Please contact Mrs. Thursby with any questions. All students who complete the math packet will participate in the Summer Math Celebration and all students who complete the extra summer reading options will participate in the Summer Reading Celebration. Embers will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences prior to the start of the school year. This helps us more effectively partner with parents in educating your children. 

Further information regarding class section assignments and Parent Teacher conference sign-up will be sent to all families in the coming days.

Please note that Parent-Teacher Conferences will be:

•  Thursday, September 2nd 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

Each conference will last 15 minutes. Parents will be able to  drop off school supplies at their conference time.

We ask that you not bring these items to school at this time. If you have already bought any of these items, we kindly request that you store them at home for the time being. Thank you for your cooperation in this regard!

This year we will require proper school shoes for boys and girls (no gym shoes except for recess and P.E. classes). We encourage uniform shoes to be non-skid soles for both boys and girls.  

UPDATED FEES for the Embers Before School and After School Care Program:

• Before School Care (7:30 – 8:00 a.m.) – $8.00 per student 

• Homework Club and After School Club (3:20 – 4:30 p.m.) – $10.00 per student

• After Club Care (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.) – $10.00 per student

2021-2022 Family Cap:
For families of 3+ children attending Before/After Care program

• Before Care $16/day

• Homework Club (3:30-4:30) $20/day

• After Club Care (3:30 – 5:30) $40/day

We are happy to announce that this year’s “Drop-In” fee for those students not pre-registered will only be an additional $5.00 fee. (Added to the regular Before Care/After Care fee)  If you plan to use the Before Care or After Care Program on a regular basis, please sign up HERE on the updated form.
