First Day of School

September 7th, 8:20 – 11:30 a.m.

Moms and Dads, no need to leave after drop-off — please join us at the “Welcome Coffee” to meet other parents. This is a great time to get acquainted or reacquainted! Information follows below…

Welcome Coffee

ALL PARENTS are invited for a Welcome Coffee immediately after morning drop-off until 11:30 a.m. on the first day of school. Please join us in the field across from the Breezeway Entrance.

“I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!”

Save the New Date for Embers Ice Cream Social!
Sometimes it’s good to break tradition. Due to Embers’ family becoming increasingly so large, we are going to break tradition and have the Embers Ice Cream Social after the start of the school year, instead of before.

Be sure to mark your calendars and save the New date: Sunday, September 12, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., held at Embers Academy. More details coming soon!

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Embers will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences prior to the start of the school year. This helps us more effectively partner with parents in educating your children.

Further information regarding class section assignments and Parent Teacher conference sign-up will be sent to all families the week of August 23rd.  In the meantime, please note that Parent Teacher Conferences will be:

  •  Thursday, September 2nd 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Each conference will last 15 minutes. Parents will be able to  drop off school supplies at their conference time.

School Supplies

We currently have an abundant supply of paper towels, Kleenex, and baby wipes!

  • If you have not purchased these items yet, please hold off until further notice.
  • If you have already bought the items, we kindly request that you store them at home for the time being.

Thank you for your cooperation with this!

Feast of the Assumption

Sunday, August 15 marks one of the most important Marian feast days of the year: The Assumption. This day commemorates when Mary was assumed into Heaven, body and soul. In 1950, Pope Pius XII made it a dogma of the Church, an unquestionable teaching that verified this undeniable truth. Click HERE to read more about the Feast of the Assumption.
