Happy New Year to our wonderful school families! A new year brings fresh opportunities for learning and growth, and we can’t wait to see our students continue to shine. Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support, which make Embers such a special place.

Report Cards Available Friday
Report cards for PreK-5th Grade will be available in your myEmbers account starting this Friday, January 9. For information on how to access your student’s report card, please click HERE.

Winter Parent-Teacher Conferences
Scheduler Opens Next Weekend
Winter parent-teacher conferences will be held on Friday, January 16. These conferences are intended for parents only. The scheduling link, via PickATime, will be available in next weekend’s Spark News.
  • Conferences held from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Conferences are 15 minutes each
  • Grades 3-5 will have combined meetings with both teachers
Please Note:
There will be no school Friday through Monday to allow for conferences and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day break.

All-School Lice Check
We have scheduled an all-school lice check for this Friday, January 9th. The technicians have requested that students be sent to school with dry hair and no hair products. If lice are present, you will be notified by the school office.

Participation in the musical is limited to Fire Choir members. Current Fire Choir members do not need to re-register. New students in grades 2nd-5th who wish to participate can click the link below to register by Wednesday, January 14.

Parenting the Love and Logic Way
Select Monday Evenings, Starting in 2026
Love and Logic® combines loving support from parents with the great expectation that kids will be respectful and responsible. This parents-only course, led by Robert Barder, offers practical solutions to common challenges and tips on fostering a harmonious family environment. Class fee is $160/family and includes course materials, light refreshments, and childcare.
