Our Sparks Have Spirit, Yes They Do!
Spirit Week was a huge success, bringing energy, creativity, and unity to our Spark community. From the wild and wacky hairstyles of Crazy Hair Day to the bold red, white, and blue of Patriotic Day, students showed off their enthusiasm in style. Crazy Sock Day kept things fun with colorful and mismatched footwear, while Sports Jersey day had our students proudly displaying their favorite teams. We wrapped up the week showcasing our Embers Pride! It was wonderful to see so much school spirit and we can’t wait to do it again next year.

A Warm Farewell to Mr. Klatt
We recently received the unexpected news that 3rd Grade teacher James Klatt has been called into active service by the military. He will be leaving next weekend to attend Army reserve training ahead of his deployment to Poland in July. James has been a wonderful teacher and colleague, and he will be greatly missed at Embers!
We are currently interviewing full-time replacements for Mr. Klatt’s homeroom. In the meantime, there is a Substitute Teaching Plan in place to cover all his classes. We will update you with more information as it becomes available.
James: your dedication and sacrifice do not go unnoticed. We are all incredibly proud and will be looking forward to your safe return. Thank you for serving our country!

2nd Grade Prepares for Reconciliation

On Thursday, Fr. Leo visited with our 2nd Grade class to answer questions about making their First Reconciliation today. Please join us in praying for all our 2nd graders as they prepare their hearts for confession. May the Holy Spirit help them grow in faith, hope, and love, so they may know God’s peace, truth, and goodness!

Coming Soon: Little Sparks Spanish

This new Little Sparks offering, designed for both beginners and native speakers, will be held on March 6, 13, and 27, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Little Sparks Spanish introduces and reinforces the Spanish language for children 0-5 and their parents/caregivers through engaging activities, songs, and games. A snack and social time rounds out each class!
