Brian & Mindy Lukens
The Lukens are current Embers parents with children in 5th, 3rd, and 1st grade, as well as a son at Northridge. Brian and Mindy will be sharing their personal experiences and speaking of their enduring dreams for their family!
PK4 held their lead this week, but it was 4th grade making a big move, leaping two spots this week. This round is anyone’s game as our classes are very close in ticket sales. Don’t delay – it’s less than two weeks until we pull the name of our $2,000 ticket winner!

Congratulations to our 5th grade classes on winning Extravaganza raffle ticket competition #1. Their race around school lead them to a prize basket full of new recess equipment and – of course – candy!

Re-enrollment contracts for 2023-2024 are now available via the myEmbers! portal. Contracts for current students are due Tuesday, February 28. Interest for 2023-24 has already proven to be robust, and returning families who have not enrolled by February 28 could be placed on a waitlist.
Tuition assistance applications are also being accepted. These applications are due on Friday, March 17. For detailed information on how to apply for tuition assistance, please refer to Monday’s school announcement email or follow the link below.
March’s Moms Club has been moved to April. Mark your calendars and join the fun on Monday, April 3!

Pizza & Penance for 2nd Grade
This Wednesday, our 2nd grade class made their First Reconciliation in preparation for Communion this spring. They celebrated their sacrament at a lunchtime pizza party!
Over 130 dads and daughters twirled across the dance floor at the annual Daddy/Daughter dance. Thank you to the Embers Parents Association for hosting such a memorable evening!!
As a reminder, student absences should be reported to our front office as early as possible on the morning your student will be out of school. If you know in advance that your child will be absent, please let Mrs. Donado and your student’s teacher as soon as possible.
On Valentine’s Day, our 5th Grade classes shared a special “treat” by reading friendship stories with the younger grades!

St. Josémaria: Three Years with a Saint

Dr. Warren Diem will share his unique and personal experiences covering the three years he spent living with St. Josémaria. Included in his presentation will be personal letters, written by St. Josémaria to the Diem family, while Dr. Diem was studying in Rome. Refreshments, wine, cheese, & beer will be served.
