This week, Ash Wednesday Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. instead of the standard Mass time. Please help us facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring all students arrive on time. There will be no confessions before or after Mass. Parents are welcome to join us!

5th Grade Shines at Annual Invention Convention
The creativity of our 5th Graders was on full display during this year’s Invention Convention. Their contraptions delighted our younger Sparks and visitors who witnessed new ways to clean, eat, and improve daily life. These innovative ideas are headed straight to Shark Tank!

Extravaganza 2025 is Bringing the Jazz!

This year, Embers Extravaganza is turning up the fun with live music by the Northridge Jazz Combo! This group is made up of middle and high school students who excel at their instruments and are exploring the world of jazz. NRP’s impressive jazz program has won several awards, including first place at the 2024 Illinois State University Jazz Festival (Honors Jazz Band).

This Week: Terra Nova Testing
Terra Nova testing for 3rd-5th Grade students will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, with a makeup day on Friday. Parents, please plan ahead to help your students shine! We recommend that our Sparks:
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Eat a hearty breakfast so hunger isn’t an issue.
- Be in school and on time every day.

Chess Scholars is available for Sparks in K-5th Grade. This program will be held from 3:15-4:15 p.m. on Tuesdays, April 1st-May 27. Players of all skill levels are welcome! Art Club: Introduction to Architecture
Mondays: March 25-May 5
Sparks in 3rd-5th Grade are invited to sign up for Art Club: Introduction to Architecture. Students will be challenged with an array of small projects, from sketching with a ruler, paper, and pencil, to modeling with cardboard, foam, and/or wood. Click HERE for more program information.
