Registration Now Open:
Mr. Sadlowski is offering summer music lessons in voice and band. This 8-week program runs from June 10-August 9 and includes a weekly, 45 minute, private lesson held at Northridge Prep. For more information please click HERE!

A Fond Farewell to 5th Grade!
Congratulations to our outgoing 5th Grade class who made their promotion on Tuesday evening. You have been a wonderful example to our younger Sparks, leading with virtue and spirit. We hope you carry Embers in your heart during all your future adventures!

Distinguished Award Recipients
5th Grade’s highest honors were bestowed at Tuesday’s Farewell celebration. Congratulations to both our award recipients!

Daniela Duffy received the Power of a Spark Award. This award is given in recognition of outstanding tenacity, determination, and perseverance in spite of difficulty.
|
|
James Wasserman received the Gladys Davis Character Award. This award is given in recognition of outstanding scholarship, leadership, service, and faith.
|
|
Fire Choir at St. Paul of the Cross
The Fire Choir will be singing for Mass at St. Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge this Sunday, June 1st at 12:00 p.m. All families are welcome to join us!

Art Camp Registration Closes Today!
Today is the final day to register for Mrs. Wasserman’s summer art mini-camps. Two camps are offered:
- In the Garden 9:00-10:30 6-9 yr olds
Together we will build a walking rainbow, paint with bubbles, and create an Eric Carle inspired butterfly.
- Summer is a Blast! 11:00-12:30 9-12 yr olds
Explore the connection between art and science by making a sun print, creating fluffy rainbow slime, and shooting off exploding paint rockets!

Final 6 Spots: Fall Soccer Team
Soccer is open to our incoming 4th and 5th Grade Sparks and strictly limited to a maximum of 22 participants. Please see this FLIER for complete information.
- Practices are expected to start in August.
- We anticipate that games will begin very quickly after the start of the school year; the full game schedule will be available in August.

Embers Family Day at the Chicago Dogs
July 21 | 3:00 p.m.

Used Uniform Reminder
Kids grow fast! Please consider donating your gently used uniforms for the fall uniform sale.
- Uniforms that they have outgrown can be dropped off in the Embers Main Office on weekdays in June, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Our Used Uniform Sale will be held August 19-22. More info to come later this summer.

We were honored to have Auxiliary Bishop Bartosic visit campus on Wednesday to celebrate our final all-school Mass of the year.

Mr. Katsantones demonstrated flag etiquette and folding techniques to our 2nd and 3rd Grade students.

Students and parents alike enjoyed 4th Grade’s Living Artwork – and our beautifully decorated walls – during our Fine Arts Fair.
