School Supply Lists

Summer must be half way over…  the stores have already brought out their school supplies! This year — as an exercise in prudence — each supply list was thoroughly reviewed, resulting in fewer requests. While some items may need to be refilled during the year, it is our hope that these smaller supply lists allow us to be good stewards of your resources.

All-School Picnic Success
 

Not even Canadian wildfires could keep our community from a summer get-together! While we did have to move the festivities to the Northridge gym, it remained a lively evening of music and socializing. Thank you to all who attended, with special recognition to those who helped plan and host a lovely evening for all our families!

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Northridge for accommodating us on such short notice. (And to the Jr. Varsity basketball team, who graciously practiced in the Small Gym.) We appreciate you!

Medical Form Reminder
Summer is a great time to check “medical forms” off the to-do list! Required medical forms include:
  • Medical Form (Required: K and all new students)
  • Dental Form (Required: K and 2nd grade)
  • Vision Form (Required: K and new students to IL)
These forms and more – including allergy asthma and food allergy forms – are available on our website.

Welcome to Baby Buttkus

A warm welcome to our newest Spark, Declan James Buttkus, who was born to Maureen and James on June 21. Declan was welcomed home by Big Brother, Owen, who is entering 3rd grade at Embers. Our enthusiastic congratulations go out to the entire Buttkus family!

Summer Office Hours
The school office is on a limited summer schedule through August 12.  Please note that messages and emails will be monitored daily.
