Enjoy the final days of summer!
School starts this Tuesday, September 5

We invite and encourage all parents to attend Embers’ upcoming Curriculum night. This informative evening aims to answer many of your questions and will feature exciting highlights, including:
  • Curriculum and policy updates for the 2023-24 school year, presented by Headmaster Goffos
  • Information on Embers’ newest initiatives, including Motor Lab and Love and Logic
  • Time to visit your student(s) classroom
  • The opportunity to hear from your student’s teacher about this year’s educational expectations
Please note that this is a parent-only event.

Dear Parents,
The Catholic faith is central to our program at Embers Academy, which is why we schedule our all-school Mass on Wednesday–the center of the students’ week.
The biggest school day schedule change for this year will be a new Mass time. We are grateful to Our Lady of Ransom parish for collaborating with us to find a better time. In years past, we have found that the afternoon Mass late in the school day was not ideal for the students. Through no fault of their own, many were tired, unfocused, and not able to fully give themselves to the sacrifice of the Mass.
Our Lady of Ransom has graciously permitted us to hold our masses at 8:45 am on Wednesdays this school year. They offered to cancel their usual Mass at 8:15 am on those days, and we will welcome any parishioners to join us at the new time.
Logistically, this is a bit challenging. But our team has worked hard to ensure that students will still have the opportunity for Confession before Mass begins. We’re excited to see the fruits of a more ideal Mass time in the way it affects the lives of our students.
I look forward to seeing your children for our first day on Tuesday!

Sincerely,
Christopher Goffos

Headmaster
