Curriculum Night Recap
Thank you to all parents who attended Thursday’s Curriculum Night. We hope that the event served as an informative and social evening, leaving you well prepared for the new year. We especially loved seeing our parents trying the Motor Lab for themselves!

Embers Grandparent Database
Embers has always enjoyed a close relationship with the grandparents of our students and we’d love to keep in touch! We are currently compiling a database of our Embers Grandparents. If you have grandparents who would like to receive our weekly Spark News email and other communication, please fill out the form below. We look forward to keeping them up-to-date with all our exciting Embers happenings!

EDP Update
Please note the following update to our Extended Day Program:
“EDP ends at 5:30 p.m. There will be a $20 charge per student for every 15 minutes a parent picks up past 5:30 pm.”
EDP enrollment is always open and we encourage all our families to enroll their students in EDP to accommodate unforeseen situations where a parent cannot not get to dismissal by 3:05 p.m.

A rainy morning didn’t spoil the fun at this week’s Little Sparks Gathering! Our pint-sized crew were treated to a special morning in Embers Town with lots to see and explore.

Attendance Policy Reminder
Thank you for the overwhelming support we have received regarding this year’s updated arrival policy. As a reminder:
- Late Morning Arrival: Students arriving after 8:10 a.m. must be escorted inside and signed in at the School Office by their parent.
- Tardy: If your student(s) will be arriving late for an excused reason, please call the School Office and/or email teacher(s) in advance.
- Early Dismissal: Please notify your student’s teacher and the School Office ahead of time if you need to request an early dismissal for your child, either by phone or email.

Columbus Day Weekend
Embers will be closed Friday, October 6 for a faculty in-service day, and Monday, October 9 in honor of Columbus Day. This means a 4-day weekend for our Sparks!
