Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences
Fall parent-teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, October 9 from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Conferences are 15 minutes each and Grades 3-5 will have combined meetings with both teachers. The PickATime sign-ups are available by clicking HERE. This scheduler will be open until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8. Please email Mrs. Williams with any questions.

These conferences are intended for parents only. There will be no school Thursday through Monday to allow for conferences and the Columbus Day Break.

Monday is Picture Day!
This Monday, September 29 will be our all-school picture day. Students should wear their uniforms, including their red sweaters or vests – and best smiles! – for photos. These pictures will be available for order and will also be used in our yearbook and class composites.
Ordering:
In a few weeks, you will receive an email from Visual Image Photography with an invitation to view and order your student’s photos. All orders are delivered directly to your home! For assistance, please email support@vipis.com.

Winter Uniform
Embers’ Winter Uniform begins on Wednesday, October 15. The winter uniform:
- Prohibits students from wearing shorts
- Requires a red sweater or vest on Wednesday Mass days

Business Office Notice
Charges for all Embers-hosted Fall extracurriculars (sports, choir, and band), the milk program, and spirit shirts will be charged to your Blackbaud Tuition Management account in October. Charges for the Extended Day Program will appear on your statement starting in November. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Spencer.

Moms Club Welcomes Monica Hinderer

Speaker Monica Hinderer will lead us through practical ways to help our children form strong roots and hopeful hearts. Monica, LCPC, specializes in individual and family-based therapy, integrating evidence-based psychology with practical tools for everyday life. In addition to her counseling work, Monica is a weekly guest contributor on Relevant Radio, where she offers guidance on mental health and Catholic living, and has presented on topics including relationships, parenting, anxiety, and resilience.

This Thursday: Dads Club Fall Pilgrimage
Dad’s Club will have their first Fall fathering this Thursday. Join us at the statue of Our Lady on the Northwest corner of the St. Paul of the Cross Parish for a Rosary Pilgrimage walking to George and Pilar Holohan’s home. Once there, we’ll gather around the backyard fire pit to enjoy snacks, drinks, and camaraderie. All Embers dads are warmly welcome to join!

Art Club Registration Due Monday!

In this 8-week class taught by Mrs. Rivas, students will learn about elements and principles of art while activating their brain’s right side. Working with different dry and wet mediums, students will develop their own style in an art studio setting.

Chess Scholars Registration Open
The Fall session of Chess Scholars, which runs after school on Tuesdays welcomes both beginner and experienced players are welcome!

Fall Sports Photos
Photos for our soccer & cross country athletes will take place morning drop-off on Tuesday, October 7. Athletes are asked to wear their team jersey to school that day for photos with school-appropriate bottoms. Coaches are warmly welcome to join us!
