Blessing of the Infant Jesus
On Monday, Fr. Leo will be visiting Embers to lead our Sparks in the blessing of our school’s Infant Jesus figurine. Additionally, we welcome all students to bring in the Baby Jesus figurine from their home nativity to be blessed. |

Our Cozy Christmas Success
Congratulations to our K-5 Sparks on a beautiful Christmas concert! Our families packed the gym and were treated to wonderful music, spirited skits, and a surprise visitor from the North Pole. The enthusiasm was palpable and the whole event was the perfect way to celebrate Christmas!

A Huge Thank You to the Concert Committee
Our concert couldn’t come together without the help of our amazing Concert Committee. Thank you to Mr. Sadlowski, Mrs. Reardon, Ms. Maloney, Mrs. Barder, and all who worked behind the scenes to make the day run so smoothly – and look so beautiful!

Our 2024 spring musical has been announced! Mark your calendars now: the beloved story of Annie will be performed by our Fire Choir students on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Participation is limited to Fire Choir members. Current Fire Choir members do not need to re-register. For new students who wish to participate, registration is open now through January 20th. Standard program fees apply.
Auditions will be held mid-January. Look for more information in the new year!

New This Winter: Art Club
We are thrilled to offer Embers’ first installment of Art Club! Hosted by architectural designer and Embers mom, Mrs. Maggie Rivas, our first class is open to students in K-3rd grade. Art Fundamentals will teach students about the elements and principles of art while working on activating the right side of their brain. Little Sparks Music & Movement
January will also kick off a new Music & Movement program, offered by Little Sparks! This reoccurring Tuesday class for infants-5 year old children & their caregivers will feature a 30-minute music class hosted by our wonderful instructors:
- Meredith Carpenter has participated in and led tot-focused music classes since 2019. An Embers K-2nd Grade Spanish teacher, Meredith helps students of all ages explore culture through music and song.
- Alli Smith has a BM in Vocal Performance and experience as a soloist, voice teacher, and choir director. An Embers mother, she has participated in numerous children’s music classes and currently directs the Youth & Family Choir at St. Mary of the Angels Church.
