Blessing of the Manger
The last day before break was a special one at Embers as Fr. Leo joined our students to bless the school manger. 5th Grade lined the hallways and sang “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” as our Sparks processed ahead of baby Jesus, who was delivered to the manger. The manger was filled with hay that students earned all month by performing acts of kindness. It was a lovely reminder of the reason for the season!
