Please give the “5-point check” before leaving home Wednesday morning:

• Hair well-groomed; Girls’ hair preferred worn down or half-up/half-down
• Clean faces and sparkly smiles!
• Red sweaters: vests, pullovers or cardigans (girls only) should be worn/brought to school
• Clean tops, jumpers and skirts/pants
• Proper socks and (clean) shoes

Photographs will be used for new website and marketing purposes only. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please email Karen Reardon at kreardon@embersacademy.org at your earliest convenience. We thank you for your collaboration with this endeavor.

Starting Monday, October 5th, all students will be required to follow the complete Embers Academy Uniform Policy. Students who successfully wear all uniform pieces each month will be able to participate in our monthly ‘Lookin’ Fine All the Time!’ out-of-uniform days!  Students qualifying for this privilege will be informed by their teacher. Thank you for making sure that our Sparks are ‘lookin’ fine’ every day! 

• Mother-Son Bowling has been moved from October 16 to January 22nd.  
• Our Christmas Concert has been moved from December 17 to December 16, with a half-day dismissal the following day

Grandparents are very special people in your family! It is an Embers tradition to set aside a special day in the Spring to celebrate our Sparks’ grandparents!

Embers Chess Club is beginning soon! Chess Scholars will return to our campus to provide fun and competitive chess instruction as an Embers after school activity for Kindergarten thru 5th grades. Detailed information and registration can be found below.

First class begins October 12.
When:  Tuesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 pm
Cost: $145 Early Bird price if registered by October 9.
