Embers’ Christmas Season is Here!

Our annual Christmas concert will showcase the talents of our K-5 class choirs, Embers bands, and Embers Fire Choir! We are excited to see our students dressed in their Christmas best, plus festive accessories such as ties, scarves or hair bows. (Please no t-shirts, jeans, or gym shoes.)  Be on the lookout… there may even be a special guest appearance!

Feast of the Immaculate Conception
Friday, December 8 at 8:15 a.m.

In celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, this week’s Mass will be moved to Friday at 8:15 a.m. To provide ample time for our students to bring their coats and backpacks to their classrooms before Mass, we are asking all families to please try to arrive by 8:00 a.m.

Our school doors will be open beginning at 7:45 a.m. to accommodate for the earlier drop-off. All parents are welcome to join us for Mass!

Moms Club is Monday
Today is the last day to register! epa@embersacademy.org

Poinsettias Arrive this Friday!

Poinsettias will be available for pick-up in the main lobby on Friday, December 8th, from 11:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

NEW this Year: Curbside Pickup
If you would like to pick up your poinsettias during dismissal, we will be offering curbside pickup:

  • First, pick up your student(s) from their assigned door.
  • Drive around to the front entrance.
  • Our volunteers will take your name and deliver your poinsettia(s) to your car!

Thank you to all who participated in this year’s fundraiser!

“Home” Sweet Home!

The Power of Science

Mr. Buggy’s Kindergarten science class explored the power of science this week, making popcorn kernels dance with baking soda and vinegar. Our Sparks tested their hypotheses on how the popcorn would move, sound, and smell!

Cold Weather Gear Reminder

Before break, our teachers sent home Cold Weather bags for each student. We ask that you fill these bags with gear for snowy days: a pair of snow pants, mittens, boots, etc. These items will stay at school and students will be using them during outdoor play. The bag will be sent home after each use to be “dried out”. Please have your bags returned to school by this Monday, December 4.
